I know that Disney is a money-grubbing heartless corporation, but I still love it's product, no matter whet they currently do to cheapen it through  bad decisions, closures,  taking away  perks that save you money, abandoning classic animation, and  following others instrad of renovating,  I grew up watching : The Wonderful World of Color, and wished we could have  afforded to go to any of the Disney Parks as a child. I wish my Dad could have seen them.  Anyway, cynicism cast aside, I love much of what Walt produced, and the  hard-working folks in   WDW (when we can muster to pay up the exorbitant prices),  ARE THE REAL STARS!

This  acrylic painting showcases Tinkerbell, Belle, Tiana, Snow White, Mickey, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty in front of Cinderella Castle. The castle is a bit of a pain in the neck to paint,  but it came out okay. I added enough clouds to help with the composition.
One year, we waited  outside the France Pavilion, anticipating Belle to travel to her  autograph/meet and greet area.  I took a ton of pictures, but I could not get the right pose... so I had to use a parial photo from the Internet. I don't paint a  lot of large images, but this 4 foot acrylic just barely fits above our fireplace. The photo of the painting is distorted, but what can you do. lol
I took this photo of Epcot, and separately photoed together Snow White, Mary Poppins, Alice, and Belle (the later two are in the painting, just far away), using  Corel Painter to add them  all for reference. Then I gridded up the  image, and painted the picture in school, before I teach. It took a   while to do.  Again, sorry for the distorted photo.... but I like the shading on the fake thatched roof, in the England section. I tried to go a bit looser than normal acrylics, and kept the sky to a minimum. And as usual, it ALWAYS starts with strong composition.

These are only a handful of all the covers I have done. To see more, you need to look round the Internet and discover.  Cheers!
